Anjana is a fully qualified Architect specialising in Healthcare design, with recent experience in Building Control Approval for several Higher-Risk buildings. She holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Environmental Design from the Architectural Association School of Architecture, London, and brings extensive cross-sector experience spanning Retirement/Later Living, Retail, Commercial, Leisure, Mixed-Use, and Urban Design projects.
Anjana believes that the design we deliver can profoundly influence both mental and physical well-being of the users. With a deep understanding of design development, technical coordination, and management within the UK healthcare sector, she brings a thoughtful, people-centred approach to every project ensuring that spaces not only function efficiently but also support and elevate the experience of the users.
One of her notable achievements is her first publication, “Stall Prototype for Gandhi Market”, which was selected for presentation at the PLEA (Passive Low Energy Architecture) Conference in A Coruña, Spain, in December 2020.
Outside of work, Anjana enjoys playing tennis and reading, and often spends her downtime listening to true-crime podcasts while out on long walks with her husky-malamute, Ronnie.
