PHd were appointed to provide a viable and cost efficient design & build facility… PHd used the original detailed specification and reconfigured the same in order to meet UK legislation… and at the same time value engineered the whole project to provide the best all round package, the level of communication from PHd has been exemplary plus they have demonstrated flexibility, dedication and genuine enthusiasm from all within their organisation… At every stage the Guhring team have been thoroughly impressed by the professionalism, the attitude and the quality that has been prevalent throughout the project. University of Birmingham

I am pleased to provide a reference for Pinnegar Hayward Design. I have worked with PHd over a number of years and will continue to do so. Their commissions for the University range in type and complexity, but all cover the full RIBA work stages from inception through feasibility, design and procurement to completion. PHd are well versed in the strategic aims of the University in achieving the highest design quality through the formulation of the brief, whilst maintaining control over the ever important financial constraints. As Lead Consultants they have been instrumental in selecting and leading the design team through all the trials and tribulations of our many varied projects, including the design and construction process through to their successful commissioning. St John's Lichfield

I met Joe White in my capacity as Chairman of Trustees of St John's Hospital. This is a 520 year old Almshouse which is a Grade 1 listed Almshouse which is one of Lichfield's premier architectural beacons. We wanted to create a new much extended common room in keeping with the ancient building. The Trustees were very much impressed with the trouble Joe took to ascertain and evaluate the needs of this elderly group of men and women in so doing he has create a room full of light and charm which blends with our ancient cloisters. Throughout, his attention to the smallest detail has been meticulous. The project was completed both under budget and ahead of time.

Telford College

The College has had a professional working relationship with Pinnegar Hayward Design since 1993. During this time they have provided full architectural and project management services on more than 35 capital projects with a total construction spend in excess of £30m, including multi-phased developments over £10m value. These included feasibility proposals for entire campus redevelopment, offices and administration centres, new teaching blocks and sports halls. We have had a professional working relationship with Pinnegar Hayward Design LLP for the last 4 years. During this time, they have provided Architectural, Project Management and CDM Co-ordinator Services for us on over 30 Projects totalling in excess of £10 million.
