The project consists of several phases, including; a new entrance, staircase, lift, link corridor, refurbishment or medieval hall and construction of new teaching block, accommodating Art, Graphic, Design and Photography facilities.

The development incorporated refurbishment and new building, linking the existing medieval and Edwardian building with a new contemporary building, utilising glass and steel.

The building gained a Ludlow Heritage Award 2006.
