Completed in Q4 2018, this 4-storey Storage building was delivered to complement the client’s growing number of facilities across the midlands and North-West.
As with other schemes at Redhill in Stafford we worked closely with the client in the very early stages producing concept proposals in order to secure the purchase of the plot from the local authority.
The scheme also includes a business incubation aspect offering start-up offices across 3 floors to complement the storage provision.
Despite the greenfield plot being brough forwards by Staffs Council the building straddles both ‘cut and fill’ which required particular consideration for the design of the footings.
There was also significant co-ordination required to secure the new incoming power supply and feed in tariffs for the large solar panel array within the fast track 34 week programme.
We worked closely with Calibre construction to facilitate early access for the clients ‘directly appointed’ mezzanine fit out specialist.
