Expansion of Haematology Department, Trust Headquarters, QEH

The PHd designed Centre for Clinical Haematology at the University Hospital Birmingham is due on site in May 2017 and will transform the old Trust headquarters into a dedicated Haematology Unit including new research facilities.

The £3.2 million expansion of a world class haematology centre of excellence which develops cures for blood cancers is part funded by Cure Leukaemia. Who has made a commitment to raising an additional £1 million in 2017 to ensure the expanded Centre is fully funded.

The project, which has been driven by Cure Leukaemia co-founder Professor Charlie Craddock CBE, is being delivered by Pinnegar Hayward Design. Work is expected to be completed in December 2017.
